Traditional prawn cocktail served with brown bread and butter
POACHED PEARS
Whole pear, poached in winter spices accompanied by a forest fruit compote
GOUJONS OF SOLE
Breaded strips of lemon sole, deep fried until golden and served with tartare sauce
CHICKEN AND GOATS CHEESE SALAD
Chicken marinated in honey and mustard with crumbled goats cheese, mixed leaved, pine nuts and french dressing
CARROT AND CORIANDER SOUP
Served with freshly baked bread 

 


TRADITIONAL ROAST TURKEY
Served with chestnut stuffing and spicy cranberry sauce
ROASTED MULLED LEG OF LAMB
Led of lamb rubbed with spicy paste, roasted and served with port, cinnamon and prune sauce
STEAK AND ALE CASSEROLE
Braised steak, mushrooms, onions, garlic and thyme in a thick aromatic casserole
SALMON AND LEMON HOLLANDAISE
Fillet of salmon, gently poached and served with creamy lemon hollandaise
ROOT VEGETABLE NUT ROAST
Parsnips, carrots and beetroot combined with mixed nuts and seeds, served with apple and calvados sauce

All served with potatoes & seasonal vegetables

A non refundable deposit of £5.00 per person is required to secure a booking.
